200th Luau Postponed

200th Anniversary Luau Postponed

Due to the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic we are postponing the large group events commemorating the 200th anniversary.
Though the event is postponed, we will have an online prayer event on Facebook and Kona2020.org to commemorate the 200th; praying for revival and for the many people impacted by the virus. Churches throughout Hawai’i and beyond are invited to ring their bells 200 times at 9 am. After, at 9:15, we will join in praying for a new awakening to the good news of Jesus across the islands and globally.
In 1820 churches in New England and the missions team aboard the Thaddeus held a “concert of prayer” for Hawai’i and for revival. And on April 4th, 2020 we can still echo those prayers, trusting for their fulfillment in our time, in our families and communities.
The 200th luau and large group portion of the event will be rescheduled and announced as the virus pandemic subsides.
